Using Motivational Interviewing, I cultivate sustainable lifestyle behavior change by building confidence and addressing ambivalence. Weekly to monthly one-on-one individualized and real-time online coaching sessions. Each session is about 45 minutes.

Timeline

Most patient need 6-12 coaching sessions over 3-4 months, Some will need less, others more. To achieve sustainable obesity-related health goals and patient self-efficacy, up to 12 months is needed.

Does it work? How long will it take?

Yes! Coaching and improved lifestyle habits help people better control their medical conditions and improve their overall health.
People report feeling better and happierafter only a few sessions. The program consists of about 12 sessions over 6-12 months.

Why not ask patients to change their lifestyle habits on their own?

Of course you can. But consider this: It can be difficult to change on your own. That’s why patients that work with coaches are much
more likely to make healthy changes--and stick with them.

What is the easiest way to identify a patient to refer?

How much will this cost me my patients? Does insurance pay?

Currently, health coaching is not covered by insurance. It is an out-of-pocket expens. That’s why Francisco’s fees are so
reasonable. Visit his website herediacoaching.com to check on the latest fees. You can also submit a reimbursement claim to your
HSA, FSA or HRA. I’ll give you a Medical Necessity letter and Francisco will give you a Superbill to include with your claim. Claims
do not guarantee coverage, but most people are successful
